(April 30, 2023, 5:54 pm)Beautiful spring time hiking with dog friendly trails. Wildflowers are in full bloom and there is a great variety of both narrow trails that follow a stream as well as wide open trails through rolling fields.

(April 22, 2023, 9:42 pm)What a beautiful place. Be sure to stay on the trail or you get in trouble. There are bathrooms and the only place with 4G/5G connection is in the bathroom for some reason. There's an awesome picnic area! This area is very dog friendly, unfortunately.

(April 18, 2023, 11:13 pm)Beautiful, rugged hiking trails through a ranching property still complete with cows. Wide, expansive vistas coupled with narrow gorges and lots of spring streams. Amazing spring wildflowers. Dogs on leash, horseback riders welcome. Toilets at the reserve trailhead but otherwise limited facilities and no cell service.

(March 15, 2022, 5:22 pm)A terrific place to hike in the shadow of Mt Diablo, this is probably my favorite of the east bay regional parks. If you visit in the winter or spring you'll see lush green hills and full streams running down into the gultches asfl around the park.
Tons of wildlife inhabits this stretch of protected land, and you'll see bobcats, coyotes, vultures, deer, mountain lions, and tons of birds.
This park is also very dog friendly so please bring along your wonderful pets!
