Not a lot of hotel options in the area. Rooms are clean, staff is very nice, breakfast is very generous. Because the hotel seems to be used by a lot of work crews, it is a little noisy in the early evenings, but it quiets down before 9pm.

Clean, Comfy and Convenient. I visited a friend in Concord, and stayed at this BW which was great. It is a bit older, but the rooms are updated, clean, fresh, large sizes and beds were comfy. I'd stay here again. I'm a big business traveler, and this hotel was perfect. Also, the added breakfast is so nice! Very competitively priced given the amenities.

Beautiful place to hike, but not if you're looking for well groomed trails. About 3 miles from parking area off Hwy 37 to the top of Lower Tubbs Island. Trail follows Tolay Creek to the shore of San Pablo Bay. I wasn't able to walk fully around Tubbs Island because of high tide. Great for bird watching and fishing. You'll need long pants & hiking boots to walk around Tubbs Island because the trail is overgrown.

This is part of the Sonoma wetlands.

It truly is beautiful here. There are so many different types of birds to watch and fishing your into that type of thing.

It's off hwy 37.

Some parts of it is water...like a lake...this particular spot is a little water and more muddy...still many birds to see and watch..

Bring binoculars if you plan to bird watch...

Very peaceful...there are lots of trails to walk...benches to sit on...

Nice place to visit if you like this type of thing.

Beautiful, no dogs allowed even on leash. I understand why, but was sad to not be able to take my pup for a walk in the tidal marshlands. That being said - it’s awesome for bird watching and there were kayakers out there, so I think it is probably a pretty awesome place!
