The Douglas Beach House

We booked with The Douglas Beach House for my husbands surprise birthday party. While the price was reasonable for the exceptional view, beautiful space, and super cool musical history of the venue, I was blown away by the experience because of the personal care and responsiveness of the owner and suggested support staff/vendors. I was pregnant at the time of setting up the party; the owner worked with me to keep everything a surprise and even stayed at the venue and helped me a bit. The sound quality and stage were exceptional as well - we had a band and this was the perfect venue to make this event happen. The event manger was helpful, warm, and unintrusive. Overall I can’t say enough good about the experience of the venue and working with the Douglas Beach House team!!

It's a beautiful location, & home to Bach Society jazz venue.

An intimate setting with great jazz, often world-famous musicians playing great music at affordable prices in this small, 200-seat venue simply because they love both the place & it's history.

If you like jazz, this is a must-go place!
If you don't like jazz, go anyway if only for the ambiance & the views!

My wife and I celebrated the renewal of our vows at the Douglas Beach House with 70 friends and family. The site is fantastic...ocean views from every window and on-site parking. There is a raised stage we used for our ceremony. Barbara was patient with our questions and was very helpful planning the layout for tables and our ceremony. Dylan was also great setting up the microphones and checking in with us to see if we needed anything. I highly recommend the Douglas Beach House for a wedding, a party or a great place to hear jazz locally.

I am a wedding coordinator who had a wedding here. This is a wonderful place to have your dream wedding. With the gorgeous view and coastal ambiance as well as the amazing service and food here. All of our guests had enjoyed the wedding here. Highly recommend!

Room was very clean with its own bathroom and a door to the outside. Comfortable bed and a spacious room 2 minutes from the beach walking. Saw some dolphins and a whale while eating dinner listening to live jazz in the auditorium.
