Rock City Park

Vast and amazing park. Once you pay the fee (they take card) you can drive up this road that winds all the way up the mountain to the summit where there's a tower that overlooks the whole mountain range. Along the road up, there are plenty of spots to park and trail heads everywhere. At the summit there is a tour guide who is very knowledgeable of the area. Bathrooms at the top too if you're afraid to use a bush. Great hiking place with varying difficulties all over. I went once and I am already planning on going again. You should go too!

Nice place with some interesting rock formations. You can climb the rock and walk around them. Some are unfortunately filled with graffiti.

Beautiful kids friendly rick climbing place. Good number of parking lots. There are good picnic benches. It’s dog friendly but better keep them on leash.
Too sad to see all the graffiti on the rocks though. Hike trails are good. Park staff are very friendly.

Great place for kids and adults alike! A little confusing with parking and paths, however, but if you're open to exploring, it's perfect.

Such a fun and easy trail to do with kids. We loved hiking and wandering around. Be careful with poison oak, and bring a water bottle! We had a lovely lunch picnic, there are various places along the road to stop and enjoy the views and have lunch.
