(October 9, 2022, 4:02 pm)Really great park and super dog friendly! They even have a whole off-leash dog area and you don’t have to worry about mountain bikers coming up or down the trails.
Went here on a Sunday and it was fairly busy, but not overcrowded -

Definitely recommend taking water on a warm day and heading counter clockwise on the trail that way the accent is shaded and the walk down is in the sun. Great views from the top. Saw lots of people running by and perfect for exercise. Saw a lost key near the restroom on the fence.

(January 29, 2022, 9:56 pm)Gorgeous park with some great elevation gains and views to award you at the top. We were lucky to have a beautiful 60°+ sunny winter day. There are some shady parts of trail and was pretty jogging stroller friendly.

(January 21, 2022, 11:02 pm)Beautiful 7 mile loop. One of the best views of the bay area at the summit as you can see from the Dumbarton to Oakland.
Moderate coverage from the sun. You can hear the sounds of small rivers the entire way.
Trails are well maintained, even if a bit narrow. -

(August 12, 2021, 9:07 pm)Phenomenal park to stroll around with the dog. There is a big off leash loop on top of the hill above the parking lot. We saw lots of poison oak and some wildlife so good to keep your pup on the trail!
