I’d give more than 5 stars if I could!
We bought a new cover for our 2010 Kauai Caldera Spa from Jim at Caldera / Cal Spas in Novato a few months ago. His store was the only one in the bay area who had it in stock. Fast forward to June 15th 2022, our hot tub stopped heating up. We tried everything to get it heating again with no luck. We live in Pinole & I called at least 5 bay area “hot tub repair professionals” & not one called me back. My father gifted us this Caldera Hot Tub which he purchased @ a Caldera supplier in Berkeley in 2010 & they could not or would not help us, truthfully I felt like they didn’t have the time of day for us! I called Jim @ Caldera Spa in Novato, he actually took the time to talk to me, listen & offer a solution! I don’t know about all of you but these days it feels like this level of professionalism and customer service is really hard to find! It’s so sad but true! So Jim scheduled us a appointment with his son James. James not only showed up on time, he fixed the pump/heater & replaced a breaker that was unsafe! He also balanced our tub and gave us guidance on how to care for our tub to help it to last as long as possible! The service was amazing all around at a fair price. Oh AND Jim actually called me today, on Father’s Day, to ask if how our spa was running! I meant to say, “Happy Father’s Day Jim”! You just can’t find this anywhere else these days! If you need help, repairs a new spa anything hot tub/ spa related Jim & James are your team at Caldera / Cal Spas Novato, don’t hesitate! When we are ready for a new spa we wouldn’t think of going anywhere else & you shouldn’t either! 😃

We were looking for a hot tub and a friend gave rave reviews for North Bay Spas. Jim and Katrece were wonderful to work with and gave me great advice on models and placement and all of the things we should do to prep for getting a hot tub. Sadly, they didn't have the model we wanted in stock, and we were anxious to get one so we went with another company, but I wish we'd found a way to get one from them. When a tub did come in, they reached out to me and I referred them to a friend. All I hear from my friend is how great it is and how great the service is. Our experience with another company has just been ok. I still refer everyone to Jim. They're the best!

I bought a house with a spa 3 years ago. The instructions the previous owners gave me about maintaining it proved wrong and unhelpful. Have had 2 spa companies out to fix and repair problems. Most recently the recirculation pump started making a loud vibrating noise. James, from New Products, came out yesterday to repair it. He showed me in a quick half hour what I was doing wrong and why my use of chemicals was damaging the tub. He showed me how to drain the tub simply and easily without taking the sides off and gave me a clear picture of what I have to do after each use, weekly monthly and quarterly. Cannot speak highly enough of James. I didn't feel for a moment that he was at my tub trying to sell me stuff, but he was there helping me make it work in a way that would eliminate my need to call a tub repair company any time soon. We just had a great experience with New Products, Inc. They are a family run business that is friendly and responsive. I contacted them about a repair we needed for our VERY old Coleman spa (25+ years!). Rather than trying to sell me a new spa, they sent James to “have a look.” James seemed to have worked a miracle with our tub. After a thorough investigation into all the possible problems, He was able to fix everything on the spot for a reasonable repair fee. He triple checked everything. James even came back with a new filter (that they had to track down for us), and took extra time drain the tub for us. When it comes time for a new tub, we will definitely check into New Products’ Spas. Great customer service goes a long way.
