Great place to feel like you're out of the bay.. quiet, tranquil and not too congested ( if you go early). Great views and exciting trails that all connect. The hiking maps are on a downloadable map so you cant get lost!

This is an outdoor venue led by a core group of folks with a lot of passion for giving high quality theater at affordable prices. Harriet, who is the matriarch of the place, is an outstanding person who goes out of her way to make sure everyone has a great experience.
They are nestled in a park so guests often come early and can eat in the park, at one of their assigned picnic tables (for a small fee) and then enjoy the show.
It can get cold so we always dress extra warm (like it was the middle of winter).

This was my favorite park on this visit. The redwoods were magnificent! We did Sequoia Trail, which was well kept, easy to walk and offered great views of the Bay.

Dunne trail is my favorite trail that close to my house. A nice little trail that nice and quite when I need solitude. It can get a little crowded on fridays and the weekend. Plus it a off leashed trail for dogs which is a plus. The only thing I wish is that the trail be a little longer.

Lots of trails for different levels! Everytime I've been I find a new hangout spot or a new little view. You can find people take pregnancy photos or wedding photos...kids larping, bands practicing in the circle of big trees, people have little picnics....and still you can find yourself a secluded spot.
