(October 1, 2020, 12:24 am)One of only three ways I know of to get into Pescadero Creek County Park. The park is quiet and feels remote, but you have to work to see its beauty. For redwood fans, it looks like it was logged relatively recently, but redwodhikes.com says there are some old growth trees mixed in.

(September 8, 2017, 7:14 pm)Driving down to Hoffman Creek Trailhead parking lot takes a while but once you get there you are able to enjoy the trails, river crossings and climbs through Pescadero Creek State Park. As all parks and open space preserves in the Santa Cruz Mountains, this park offers and amazing experience hiking through it.
