Wildwood Veterinary Hospital

I cannot say enough good things about this hospital. The doctors and staff are all personable and knowledgeable, while maintaining the height of professionalism. I worked in a veterinary hospital for 13+ years, and I have also been to my fair share of vets, and I have to say that Wildwood stands out above all others in every way.

Dr Sanders—the owner of the practice—can only be described as top notch in his field. He is positive, genuine, and is a very good listener. His positivity and remarkable skills seem to have created a work space in which every employee has the opportunity to become their best professional self.

Really friendly staff, and you can tell they all really care for every animal that comes through. Dr. Chris was the absolute BEST. I am so happy I came.

I ended up having to put one of my scaley children on antibiotics and Iris was so helpful in teaching me how to administer the shots.

I took my two guinea pigs Pickles and Pie to Wildwood today to see Dr. Tina Peak for a general checkup. I was impressed with Dr. Peak's depth of knowledge with guinea pigs. She helped us identify an estimated age and breed of both pigs (they were adopted from the SPCA, so there were a lot of unknowns). The vet audited their diet and cage setup, and suggested some customized diet tips for one of our pigs who is a little on the chubby side! She also gave their nails a trim which was very kind. Dr. Peak's assistant was equally high spirits and an expert at handling both guinea pigs (I've forgotten her name, it might have been Ivy!) Overall the whole staff was very professional and punctual.

It was great being able to go inside the building (while masking) and see the examination, which we didn't get to do at Sunset a few months ago. Wildwood is a small vet clinic so it wasn't very busy, we saw just one other patient (also guinea pigs!) just leaving as we came in.

It sounds like Wildwood examines furry exotic critters on Mondays and Fridays. On other days, there's a different veterinarian. Best phone in for the latest schedule (today is 4/25/2022).
