Village Square Woodside Veterinary Hospital

Today I went into Village Square Veterinary Hospital, Woodside with my two Malinois for their check ups and got the best of services! Dr. Candice Sefchik was very knowledgeable in her information given and took very close attention to both my dog's health. I appreciate all that was brought up and the handling of my two dog's by her vet tech Megan! Thank You!

Recently experienced a “water in fuel” scenario which caused alarming engine problems in my Airstream Interstate Sprinter powered by an awesome MB diesel. The engine went into protective “limp mode”, but made it to Fairfield MB.

Not a quick fix, I learned. This issue required expert diagnosis, engine services, new parts and hard work by the Sprinter mechanic for days - he also took the time to say hello and assure me he’s solving it.

I am very thankful to service advisor turbo pro Aaron for keeping me sort of calm, very well informed for days and for encouraging me to stay the course. He explained how and why water in fuel is complex and that their Sprinter specialist mechanic is the best in the trade for a long, long time. Great to hear, and true it is.

Now back on the road, the engine is running finer than new, repaired perfectly, and that Mercedes Benz engineering i love is performing super well again. Restored engine, I’m thrilled!

First time dog owner, and I felt so taken care of by Dr. Sefchik and her team. My doggo was provided medication needed and the directions given clearly (they were even written down for me as I had my hands full!) Clear, concise wonderful clinic, wonderful people. Easy to get to and good parking too. Can’t wait to go back again.

My girlfriend and I brought one of our cats Sabrina into Woodside Vet on a couple occasions. The staff at Woodside Vet are nothing short of extraordinary. They were professional, caring, and gentle with our pet. We spoke with Dr. Connor, and she took the time to answer all of our questions sincerely. The way she handled our pet was incredible. We were so comforted knowing that our pet was in good hands. I highly recommend this veterinarian for professional, empathetic and quality care.

Our dog Maker loves this place! Everytime we are close he recognizes the smells of warmth, kindness and compassion. The staff here are great and are very responsive to include the doctors returning phone calls in a timely manner. We have been going here a long time and will continue to do so, due to the great customer service and their love for Maker!

Ollie had spinal surgery for herniated discs in his lower back a few months ago in Houston. With a lot of after care, he did very well. We moved to California 2 months ago and he continued to recuperate until a few days ago. Same congenital problem. Took him to emergency care at another clinic because Ollie was in pain and began dragging his foot. An anti-inflammatory/pain reliever, sedatives and confinement were prescribed. We could be looking at more surgeries. Took Ollie in to our regular vet at Woodside Vetinary Clinic where they suggested we try an alternative to surgery and another long, painful recovery. Acupuncture. I was apprehensive, but the doctor explained the procedure in great detail and how many dogs find relief (in addition to lifestyle changes). Very calming and caring staff. Day 1 immediately after acupuncture, Ollie is calm and relaxed. Also started an anti inflammatory/neuropathic pain reliever, Ollie appears to be pain free and is eating and wagging his tail again. Not so when he was previously sedated and in a zombie state all day. Day 2, still pain free. Will see how it goes after 2 more sessions. Surgery would be the last alternative.
