(September 11, 2022, 12:15 am)Pros: They can find the basics if you are in the area: some cold drinks, some souvenirs, books, etc. When it is cold outside, you can definitely get a warm drink. It is more of a shop than a bar/food place though, so know what you expect. The staff was really nice, and the products they have are high quality and at a very decent price.

When it's foggy and drizzling, it's especially nice to have a cup of hot tea. ☕️🫖
There are many tables around the cafe where you can sit and look at the landscape of the former prison, but you can just look at the bridge while walking, it would not be bad to make benches and tables on the other side of the cafe, especially since the place allows. 🌉🌁
Americans somehow don't really bother with the improvement of tourist places. 🇺🇸😎 -

(April 25, 2021, 5:13 pm)Highly recommend popping by this shop; does a lovely job of curating items from Bay Area companies such as Curaçao Chocolates, Bryant Terry (cookbook author) and more. Has a few vegan snacks as well.
