We found this opportunity by chance while walking down Pier 39. After a brief talk with the person taking reservations, we decided to consider it. We walked around to scout out other options and looked online and ultimately came back to try the 90 minute sailboat tour. We were very pleased with our experience. It was a weekday / daytime sail, so there was plenty of room on the boat. Dave and Caleb took great care of us, provided us beverages, answered all of our questions throughout and also gave us space to enjoy. Honestly, it was a nice balance of getting to sit back, relax and enjoy the views in peace with being able to ask questions as they arise. It was the perfect amount of time on the water for us with great close-up views of the bridges an Alcatraz. An experience I will repeat again and highly recommend.

We booked a private 90 minute sunset tour with our family and friends and it was one of the highlights to our trip to San Francisco. The staff was friendly and accommodating and helped create the perfect atmosphere for the trip. We will definitely book through San Francisco Sailing Company again next time we are in San Francisco.

We had a good time on these sailing boat. I do you suggest you dress warmly for this as you were likely to freeze. The boat was not as nice as we would have expected but it was enjoyable. When they say they have a bar and you get two drinks believe me it is not a bar I
you get cans of beer And limited very limited wine selection. The crew was very knowledgeable and friendly, even provided blankets and jackets for us. We were able to see some porpoises and the seals. Also got to sail out to the Golden Gate Bridge. All in all it was a fun time.

A beautiful, wondrous ride, and dream come true. Remarkable sights, kind and accommodating crew! Wasn't crowded but WAS freezing cold (mid-February) and even though we were incredibly layered- bring gloves. Would have made a WORLD of difference. Wish I'd known or been advised, but otherwise, every question was answered and every desired view and picture was experienced and captured.
