I love cruising on Carnival ships. You can eat and drink all day.

Less than 30 minute wait before starting the process of checking in. 1st time cruisers should set TSA expectations then be happy when the wait is less. Make sure to set up Verifly in advance to save time if traveling during Covid Era. Carry on your own luggage if you didn't overpack. Otherwise they'll deliver it outside your room if you check it. Download the Carnival Hub App to get a map of the ship, check in for dinner and breakfast and stay up to date with events happening on ship including times restaurants and bars open/close. Turn on the TV in your room to see where the ship is on the ocean in real-time including the depth. There are cameras live streamed to the TV for certain areas of the ship. Helpful when trying to determine the least populated time to access certain areas. All tipping is added automatically to the card on file, but you can give more if you'd like. The food is mediocre-think geriatric or Midwest taste buds. Expect to see people past their limits with alcohol. There are quiet nooks if you visit spaces when there are no events happening. Offboarding is a stressful experience with obnoxious hung over people trying to cut lines or rush the process. Wear comfortable shoes and listen to the instructions then you'll be off the ship within an hour from the start of the process. Highly recommend rooms with a balcony for more space, but primarily for ventilation. The rooms get warm and bathroom smells are not well ventilated.

Patients is needed if you are a regular cruiser don't judge them that hard. Chaos is what will greet you. We were in the 10:00 group and didn't start the process of entering the door until 10:25 which you must have a mask on. You need paper copy of Boarding pass, vax card, and passport. Verifly means nothing to them. You enter the door and go up th the escalator to security. Then its on to the next station where you show Boarding pass and passport.
