The work they do there is amazing. They obviously care about the local wildlife, and volunteers are kind and informative. It's a short experience, you could probably walk through the whole thing in less than 30 minutes, but it's still worth supporting.
This place was awesome. Their mission and their volunteers were great. It's definitely worth the visit, especially if you have younger kids. We went during the week, so a reservation was easy to get, but we can't speak for busier times of the year.
I expected it to be bigger. It was a small rescue hospital, but they resuce many animals each year. The staff was very friendly and the giftshop had many things for it's size. Although there wasn't alot to see or do, what they had was educational and entertaining. It is a worthwhile way to spend part of an afternoon, but it isn't a destination trip. I'll go back again when they have more animals in house and also plan to hike on one of the nearby trails.
Outstanding work done here, largest marine mammal hospital in the world. Crystal gave us an outstanding tour with great information and shared enthusiasm.
Great place to spend a couple hours and learn more about the local seal and sea lion populations. The tour was fun and educational.
