Good small park with slides and swings! No restrooms!

Amazing spot! The food is incredible, there’s parking and lots of outdoor seating. Several vegetarian/vegan options. I got the veggie burger and it was soooo delicious. Will have to try the jackfruit sandwich next time. The pie, cookies, and milkshakes were all amazing.

Well we wanted to drive somewhere to the coast to cool off since the Bay Area was suppose to hit almost 100 degrees hence thought of Half Moon Bay it's one of our favorite places to visit.

We left by afternoon given the heat we knew there will be traffic on the way to HMB that was a wise decision we did got caught in traffic but still not bad at least it was moving steadily at 40 mph.

We had heard about The Barn (thanks to Yelp reviews) so thought of checking it out. There are good parking spaces in front as well as backside of the restaurant. There is no indoor seating only outdoor but it's well shaded so didn't mind at all . We loved the outdoor vibe plus there are more seating at the Beer Garden too but it's not shaded.

We stood in line which was a bit long so took some time for our turn to come we were ok with that since it gave us some time to check the menu board.

Here are the things we ordered-

1) The Hot Farmer Burger (medium rare) -

Pomponio Ranch burger local pasture fed beef from asan Gregorio served with all things special,white cheddar cheese,fried onion rings, tomatoes, arugula,dressed in our homemade Barn Buttermilk , made spicy with Barn special pickled jalapeños & sriracha aioli .

We loved the burger it was juicy, flavorful, crunchy & not at all heavy burger bread was soft . Sadly I had to spilt it with my husband but next time I will have it all by myself... I loved it very much!!!

2) What the Cluck -

1/4 pound organic chicken breast marinated with lemon oregano buttermilk goodness prepared crispy or grilled served on Acme ciabatta with goat cheese, arugula, tomatoes & Barn made buttermilk dressing .

We choose grilled chicken, sandwich was good portion size again we spilt the sandwich so it was not heavy for us only thing is we found it little bit chewy otherwise it was good.

3) Storm side Mac & Fry -

It comes with Fries & 2 pieces of Mac & Cheese fried cubes.
Fries was ok piping hot but little heavy on salt for us ( we prefer less salt) good portion size for us .
Mac & Cheese fried - it was superb I absolutely loved it very crispy outside very soft inside again this was not heavy for us since we had 1 each. I am still dreaming about it. Darn it was sooo good !!!

For drinks we choose Beer -
Calidad Mexican style Larger & Hop Dogma IPA.
Both were good the glass was small size but chilled which was sooo good given it was almost 80 degrees in HMB.
I loved Calidad more then Hop Dogma IPA.

Overall it was a wonderful experience the all female staff was wonderful & quick.

They have bowls filled with water for dogs too which we loved it.

Afterwards we went to see the surfers & stroll around the water overall it was a successful day!!

The restaurant had a very homey atmosphere and the staff was very kind. The burger was phenomenal and very juicy, and the homemade American cheese had the flavor of nicer cheeses while having American cheeses satisfying texture. The fries were also well seasoned and crispy, reminiscent of McDonald’s fries. The Chicken Sandwich and fried Mac and cheese however were both very bland and borderline flavorless. My family also seemed to enjoy the food and they said it would be a perfect place if they were to add onion rings. Overall, I would recommend coming to this place if you want a great burger and fries.

Food was great! I had the barn burger, but had the spices on the side. The shakes was "home" to body and soul. Parking and waiting in line can be a small challenge especially if your hungry, but worth the wait. Definitely a revisit!

True to its name, it is a windy hill. We can fly kite, play games, nice play structure and of course swings away from the play structure to flow with the wind. Great hidden gem, few steps away from the fountains.

Well kept park with ample parking. Our kids loved rolling down the hills.

Nice park with a lil play area. Something cute for about 10 minute visit

Beautiful greenery, well maintained lawns , our dog Polo loves to climb the small 'hills' and kids have option to play on swings etc.
