Hangetsu Sushi

I've been here a few times now and I'm sad I didn't visit this place sooner after they opened! By far the best sushi we've had on the coast, the quality is amazing and is priced super reasonably for how awesome the food and service is. Will support these guys as much as I can :)

This was our first visit but won't be our last. Everything was wonderful, the staff, the atmosphere, and definitely the food. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

We had a great dinner tonight! The service was excellent, food was delicious and the green tea ice cream hot the spot. It’s great to have a sushi restaurant midcoast. Once their liquor license comes through, they’ll be operating on all cylinders!

So happy this place opened! Easy parking and really nice dining experience overall. The miso soup and tempura vegetables were a great start. I was pleasantly surprised to see they had a section of the menu for vegetarian sushi. The mochi ice cream was the cherry on top at the end. Will need to return for the green tea Japanese cheesecake since they had run out. Highly recommend checking this place out. It’s even open til 9:30… later than many places on the coast!

Eight of us had dinner and we all enjoyed our meal. The diversity of the menu was very good with a broad enough selection to meet most diner’s needs. We found the presentation to be the best sushi serving aesthetic we have had frankly the food was as good to look at as it was to eat. While the service was not fast the speed was acceptable. Our group had two areas which they could work on: 1) the staff was a little clueless on what to serve young children, this of course will be an easy fix when they study the options. 2) the order taking and food delivery was a little bit disorganized. Both of these issues are minor and I would recommend this as the best Japanese food on the coast. We paid $56 per person but nobody ever said sushi is cheap.
