The food here is very fresh. I had Kolkata roll, prawn malai curry and rotis. All these dishes were flavourful and I will be coming back to try more dishes.

Small quaint place - excellent food. Friendly folks. Taking feedback these days, as the restaurant establishes itself. Very nice ambiance - it is not just a lunch place. I think, as the word spreads, it will be hard to get dinner reservations at this place - as food is great, and dinner seating is limited.

The butter chicken was excellent - cooked to perfection, and curry was simply superb - none of the "restaurant style: add curry powder, minced onions and cream" stuff. This was authentic home-style preparation - tasted fresh and flavorful. Parantha were soft and flaky - no excess oil, and the included mixed veg was delicious. Would have loved a small bowl of yogurt.

Other day, I had the "Kolkata Roll" to-go. Very tasty. One roll is not a full meal, but so good you can easily have more.

This is a must-eat for anyone who is looking for quality food at an affordable price. It is a blend of delectable East Indian and North Indian cuisine with unique appetizers, especially the whole fish pomfret fry is something to die for! The people are friendly and willing to customize the food if requested.

Extremely flavourful food. Ordered egg curry - Paratha and luchi-sabji with chai. Perfect brunch place with the tastiest food.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Talab restaurant and I must say, it was an amazing experience! The highlight of my meal was definitely the butter chicken - it was simply delicious and tasted so authentic. The flavors were perfectly balanced and the chicken was cooked to perfection. I couldn't help but go for seconds!

Aside from the food, what really stood out to me was how friendly and welcoming the owner was. She went out of her way to make sure our dining experience was top-notch and even recommended some other dishes for us to try. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also great.
