Mac Park BBQ

Found this BBQ place near work, easily accessible and indoor parking. The food was good, and they even sold out because someone made a $600 order! We could not get any more food after our serving, and had to turn away other patrons. However, the owner was kind and gave us little surprises! Awesome service

Very crispy house made potato chips, portion in photo were much more. Hush puppies were full of flavor on their own and with the honey butter just elevated the taste buds. Jackfruit, elottes were tasty too. Husband enjoyed his brisket with bbq sauce.

Highly recommend! Friendly atmosphere and food is delicious!

I ordered the one 1x1 meal of 3 ribs with fries. It came with bread (deliciously warm and toasted!). The meat was so tender that it was falling of the bone. You can tell it was made by someone who really knows how to cook a really good BBQ.

Awesome service! Collin is a great guy, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu options.

For drinks, they have some beer options and soda, I had the Angry Orchard beer. For dessert, I had a warm slice of apple pie that came with two scoops of ice cream which perfectly balanced it.

A new gem comes to the Bay Area! The food was excellent, real deal southern BBQ. The customer service is what makes it special. Collin, was so nice! He told us about his experience as a Texas grill master and it shows! The chopped brisket on the Mac Plater was juicy and had a delicious smoked flavor, not to mention how creamy and cheesy the Mac and cheese was.
If you want good southern food in the Bay Area then you have to try this restaurant.

We were in town for a work trip and spotted this place as we were heading to the airport. It was a Friday night and we stopped in around 7pm. It's located below some apartments and had easy garage parking. The decor and set up of the restaurant was really nice. Two doors to access the place.

The owner was running as a one-man-show, he was the only one running the kitchen and orders due to lack of staff. He informed us that he only opened as of that week and was still figuring out the food demands. Understandable, however, it meant there were very limited options by the time we were there. About half of the menu was unavailable.

My bf got the bbq sandwich with the last order of fries for the night. I ordered the grilled cheese and the gentleman was great about subbing out the side with jalapeño poppers since Brussel sprouts were the only side left. The food was pretty quick to be served. My BFF was content with his meal. I was confused by my "grilled cheese" because it came with meat on it. It was either a mistake or I totally misread the menu, which is possible. I will say the sandwich was pretty tasty. I wasn't a fan of the jalapeño poppers. I prefer a cream cheese stuff over a cheddar style and they had an odd taste to them. I will also say the menu items were a bit pricy for what we got.

We watched quite a few people come in after us hoping to get food but had to turn away due to limited menu. The owner did say lunch is prime since there is staff willing to work during the day and early enough to have not run out of items. I can see the potential for it being a great place to eat once the kinks get worked out.
