Stafford Lake Park

Chose here to celebrate a birthday. The day was perfect: no rain, mild breeze, blue skies with puffy clouds, not too cold or hot. The lake was so full, and everything green. Everything is so well-maintained, and there are fun play structures for kids, including a zip line, which gets LOTS of use. Lots of room for parking!

Wonderful place to picnic with family/friends. Something for all ages. Lots of fun hammocks to lie in. Climbing area and zip lines for kids. There is also a bicycle course. The lake is very full after all the rains, with geese and ducks swimming happily. BBQs are available for grilling. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained.

Really pretty park with nice facilities. I walked around a bit stretch my legs. Did a little birdwatching. Wish I had my bike the trails look really good. Peaceful spot!

Love this park, the benches have lots of spaces between so families aren't tripping over one another. Everyone there was quiet and respectful of the other guests and the park is huge with lots of things to see while walking around. Good for hikes, fishing, birdwatching, nature, people watching, even disc golf if that's your thing. It does not allow swimming or boating since it a reservoir. That's also a good thing as it means less people, trash and rude boaters who don't care about quiet and nature. All around one of my favorite parks in this area.

This is a wonderful community park. I go for the disc golf, but there are so many other great activities.
