(March 1, 2022, 4:28 am)First time randomly stumbled upon this hidden gem with lots of great views!! So much trails to see & explore. Great for non peak of the day hours to walk or hike as there is not that many trees for shade out here. Heads up, the cows are aggressive🐄 especially if their is calfs nearby. We expirenced this even as we kept a good distance, they are reactive lol. I'm glad so people don't mess with them lol. Lots of green rolling hills with bike & horse trails. We haven't explored the whole trail & there was so much to see & go. Tons of ground squirrels & lizards roaming. Parking is free but a has a small parking lot at this entrance where the trail begins. This place is huge.

(April 10, 2021, 8:53 pm)The trail goes up right at the start and keeps going up. Very beautiful scenery and stunning view of Mt. Diablo. Very good place for Cadio. I went to the Blue Oak Trail.

(January 7, 2021, 4:26 pm)Its a good trailhead but doesn't have much parking. If you don't like hills don't start here cuz the trail goes up and up right from the start. Also it can get muddy if it has rained recently. The views from this area are stunning!

(December 23, 2018, 10:00 pm)Hidden awesome trail with easy parking and nice views. Great mountain biking. You’re supposed to leash your dog but many are off leash and well behaved. Careful though if you’re on a bike — cows and dogs on the lose

(September 3, 2016, 3:03 pm)Great parking lot to start your dog friendly hike on! No bathrooms, but they did have dog poop bags and a trashcan. (pick up your pet waste!) Plenty of parking on a fall Saturday morning.
