I have been stopping by the deli for over 35 years the food has always been great it's nice to see a small family business last in a small affluent town.

Small neighborhood cafe/deli. I was the only customer when I showed up and the gentleman behind the counter treated me like it. Very friendly, personalable, offering suggestions and patient while I looked at the menu board for what they served.
I decided on the Turkey Avocado wrap with fries and it was very good! Perhaps a bit too much salt on the fries was my only minor complaint no biggie.
I would definitely return if I'm back in the area during lunch. The other items on the wall looked very good!

I really enjoy this place. I stop in for lunch quite often, even if I have a lunch packed. The pizza is good, Elias makes his own crust, and is generous with the toppings. I usually switch up from cheeseburgers with grilled onions, patty melts, or a delicious Rueben sandwich. Grab some food before/after hitting the parks and trails.

Quintessential PV! The family that runs it has been the salt of the earth at the corner of Portola and Alpine for over half a century. Food is great…. owners are even better

I had the bacon cheeseburger, which was amazing. The worker was super friendly and provided our hot meals with no time.

Perfect place to get lunch after a hike.
