I had my first visit with Dr. Sakai and his team. I am so impressed. Not only was everyone very friendly and professional, but genuinely interested and caring. Dr. Sakai explained everything thoroughly and answered all my questions, and gave me written discharge instructions outlining our rehab protocol, leaving me feeling
confident and secure. The quality of the diagnostic equipment is exciting to see, and very helpful in my own ability to see what is going on with my sweet horse. I feel very lucky that such a complete and quality facility is so close to home.

Dr Haley Casbeer and Courtney Kelly did a great job on my horse's dental yesterday. They are so calm and caring that my horse didn't need much sedation. Very professional! I have used Dr. Casbeer for other equine services and she is always prompt and professional.

Petaluma Equine is a wonderful clinic. I am always impressed not only with the genuine care they show my horse, but also their diagnostic expertise. Dr Russ searches until he finds the root of the problem, and then creates a manageable treatment plan. I am grateful to have all my questions answered and to know my horse is getting the best possible care.

Having had the same vet for 40 years, it is difficult to entrust my horses' care to someone new. Luckily, my 40 year vet is now part of this practice, and while he is now unable to do dentals, he was able to recommend one of the other doctors - she was fantastic! Couldn't be happier, the whole experience was easy, informative and fun. And, my horses liked the new vet too - the best endorsement!
