There are not enough good things I can say about my time working with Romy on recovering from a bladder prolapse following the birth of my first child. She is an incredibly experienced and knowledgeable pelvic floor therapist who has helped me to make great progress in my postpartum healing.
I came to Romy with great anxiety and terrible prolapse symptoms at five weeks postpartum and she has worked on me every week, delivering highly effective in-person treatments as well as home strengthening exercises appropriate to my body’s stage of healing.
Most importantly, Romy is empathetic and establishes a strong therapist-patient trust. She’s generous with her time and has answered my many detailed questions in order to help me better understand my prolapse. She has always made me feel comfortable and heard, which is especially important given how personal the work is. I am eternally grateful to her for getting me through the first 11 weeks of postpartum and helping me to significantly alleviate my prolapse symptoms. If I were not moving from the area, I would continue to work with her without hesitation. I can’t recommend her enough!
