It’s a hard trail but worth all the effort for this beautiful waterfall. With help of other visitors we were able to view upper falls which is another beauty.

This trail has the most beautiful views. You walk next to an ocean and also in woods. The longer trail takes you on the sand beach and that feels the most difficult part of the trail to walk on the beach. The short cut trail is difficult and risky. Check Alamera falls for complete review.

One of the best and a nicely hike around the bay area always love taking. My family and friends here. But really got to get there early in the morning so you have the best time. Also make sure your ready to hike for at least 3 hours there and back.

Another great coastal hike (some of it was inland though). Reached 8:30am. Low tide was 930am, reached beach by 10:30am via Wildcat camp, and then 30min walk to the falls. Enough available parking. Started at trail head, then took ocean trail loop to Wildcat camp. Walked to the falls via the beach. And, shortcut back up. ~12 miles.

Scenic hike. There was an arrow on the way which points to a shortcut path to the waterfall. We missed it while going. We took shortcut while returning and spotted this arrow mark.
