    The secret is out: Dr. Mast is a time traveler*

    He came back from a highly advanced era to launch hip replacement into the far future. At least that’s one explanation for the phenomenal outcome of my surgery, recovery and new hip.
    Of course, not even an extraordinary surgeon can achieve outstanding results alone. Dr. Mast’s surgical team is exceptional. A very special thanks to one member in particular, Evar Saelee, or as I refer to him: No-Scar-Evar. A picture (unretouched) is worth, well, as many words as it takes to show you that Evar closed my incision with uncommon artistry. It will very soon be impossible to see. Until then, I display it proudly.
    As for my new hip, it operates as well as the original did when I was in my twenties (possibly better). Prior to surgery—which I put off for years out of fear—I was in constant, ever increasing pain and ultimately needed crutches to get around at all. I had suffered for so long that I couldn’t imagine being pain free again; yet now, I am!
    If you are questioning your choice of surgeons or hesitating out of fear (as I did), please put your concerns aside. Dr. Mast is truly the best.
