Nikko is one of the best hair stylists I know and the only one I go to in the city. I’ve been seeing him for 5 years now and will not go anywhere else. His salon is stunning and located in a safe and popular spot in the heart of downtown (perfect if you want to grab drinks or shop afterwards). He knows exactly what I like and gives me suggestions on what he thinks could look better. No matter what though, he listens to my preferences and does exactly what I want. I have long thick hair and can be quite picky, yet Nikko never disappoints. I was given Nikko as a referral from my friend and cannot be more thankful. On a personal note, Nikko is also extremely personable and easy to talk to. I always feel comfortable and excited for every appointment. I 10/10 highly recommend Nikko to all friends and family members.

I've been seeing Nikko for about ten years, and he's the first hair stylist who's made me want to be a long-term client. He's very dedicated, thoughtful, and creative, and he offers honest advice. He's transformed my hair from a firefly haircut to something longer, and there wasn't an awkward in-between stage. He's been there for my "work" hair, my "mom" hair, and my "pandemic" hair. His cuts look great, and grow out well. Plus, he gives an amazing scalp massage.

I had been going to the same stylist, whom I absolutely LOVED, for over 12 years... then he moved to Southern California! I was nervous to find another stylist because it took me a while to find him and I trusted him IMPLICITLY to the point where I would say, "Do what you want" and my hair would come out perfectly every time.

I had been to a few different stylists but was never super happy with their work. The last chick I went to actually cut my hair in different lengths! Horrible!

I put off getting my hair cut for a while until a friend recommended Nikko. The second I walked into Nikko's studio and we spoke, I felt like we had been friends for years! He put me at ease, talking about my hair type and what it could and couldn't do. After my first appointment, I had no problem telling Nikko that I trusted his eye and he could do what he thought was best to my hair! He even recommended various products for my hair type. (Not even ones that he sells!)

If you're looking for a new stylist, I HIGHLY recommend Nikko! I love my hair again!!!

After taking my hair to many different stylists over the years, I am so happy to have a consistent professional who I trust to give my hair some love!

From the very start, Nikko asks a series of questions to learn exactly what you want, and how much you want to pay, and offers suggestions for how to get there. Nikko makes a plan and sets realistic expectations for a timeline to achieve your ideal color. Then, you get to sit back and watch the transformation happen!

Nikko is also an excellent conversationalist. I always seem to learn something new when I'm in the chair. After one visit with Nikko you'll feel more like you're headed to hang out with a friend rather than a hair appointment.
