Montserrat's functional medicine approach and program saved me. She’s a very knowledgable, personable and passionate functional medicine practitioner who practices an etiological approach to your needs to find the root of the problem and gently remove it. Our program together is completely virtual, which perfectly suits me as I live in NYC. Recently, I suddenly realized I was officially in a more recovered state when I was about to buy bitters for digestive aid and realized I haven’t had any digestive problems in MONTHS. Two weekends ago I had steak, ice cream, and cheese all in the same day and experienced absolutely no gastrointestinal problems or pain. This was so significant for me as I was in major dysbiosis recently since removing my metastatic thyroid cancer, having surgery and taking radioactive iodine. I experienced yeast infections, bloating, diarrhea, bacterial vaginosis, vomiting, burning of the mucous membranes and more. I experienced a lot of pain, discomfort and dietary restrictions for while. Not only that, but I grew up having chronic diarrhea -almost weekly, thus, being able to eat dairy, sugar and meat all in one meal and not have painful gas or diarrhea afterwards was an incredibly shocking and thrilling experience for me as I believed that was simply the way my body worked. Also, due to my improved nutrition and absorption, I healed much faster after surgery and radioactive iodine. In fact, my doctors couldn’t believe how fast I was healing! Montse is so thorough with the explanations of your labs, how supplementation will help you, and what you should expect from her program, that I always felt I was in extremely professional and loving hands. She’s also very communicative and responsive to emails, and it’s also very apparent that she practices what she teaches, which I appreciate as a patient. I have recommended her to many people and will continue to do so.

Montserrat Corsino is an excellent, brilliant, highly skilled Functional Medicine Practitioner, who has done wonders for my health. First, she ran the most extensive battery of tests I have ever had and was able to properly diagnose me. Then she put me on different programs in the last 8 months.
