(December 8, 2022, 2:51 pm)I walked here with my dog and had a good time. The way the park is made is awesome. There are two trails, the short trail and the long trail. Both trails lead you to the main entrance of the park, which is also the parking lot. I took the short trail and had a good time walking. The surrounding of the park are filled with trees and you get many great views of the reservoir as you keep walking.

(October 29, 2022, 7:00 pm)A gentle, paved path around the reservoir, busy on this beautiful Fall day. We added a one-mile loop up to the Rim trail and back. Steep! Not much shade so it would be too hot for us in the summer.

(July 15, 2022, 10:24 pm)Huge parking lot, bring coins or card to pay $1.50/hr. Various hiking levels available. Skyline is quiet and steep, brings you around to another trail that can connect back to the lot or continue around the lake. Lots of birds... bathrooms were decent.

(July 9, 2022, 4:03 am)A very nice little park for an evening hike around the reservoir with your dog. My partner, dog and I stopped by on Friday after work and thoroughly enjoyed a quick hike around the rim trail. There were no bathrooms, water spigots, or waste bins on the rim trail, but plenty if you drop down to the waterfront trail near the reservoir.
Beware, parking fees are required for hourly visits ($1.50/hr). -

(January 25, 2022, 3:46 pm)Great place for a walk or run by yourself, or with friends and pet. Really dog friendly. Run the lower path that is pave all the way around or, take the rim trail for a more challenging 5 mile walk/hike or run with about 1000 total feet of elevation and great views of the surrounding east bay area.
