As a real estate agent, I occasionally get calls from clients in San Jose who have owned their houses for several decades. Naturally, these properties accumulate significant deferred maintenance over time which causes the physical condition to deteriorate.

This was the case on our Buena Vista street client. Our clients were very skeptical about listing the property on the market and were worried about the house not passing the inspection necessary for the future buyer to secure a loan. After searching online we found and called Fortune Homes. They were able to arrange another investor for us who happened to be a direct cash buyer. The house sold with little effort on our client's behalf. To be fair, our clients did not obtain the highest price due to investment nature of the transaction but they were very happy to move out of the house quickly on to their new adventures.
