Pretty good and not too crowded trails. Lucky sunny today, or could be muddy in some areas. A little windy on edge or top of the hill.

Great park for a short trail run/hike before or after work day. Free parking with space. A 4 miles loop on the Pioneer single trail with a steep uphill spike to the Rock includes views of Hayward and Fremont.

Recently up to 5/22/22,only for Thursday-thru Sunday, holds the Iris at garden which is a little higher from the parking lots, passing the gate, just turn right and go the way up, all irises are blooming and stunning!

Dry Creak is a beautiful park at the end of Wipple road. It has great views of the bay area. We seen a few western blue birds and brightly colored canneries. It has some great trails to walk on. The creek has water in it now. Its great to come out and see the sights and sounds of the outdoors.

First time here, Wow! 👍
This a good time a year to hike here March-June
The hills are still green, California poppies are blooming and the cows are walking chewing their cud. The weather is cool to warm, bring a jacket for the wind can pick up. I hiked 5 miles around trip, the Tolman Peak Trail and back down via South Trek Trail. There are benches (2) to stop and have a small picnic.
The real issue is parking. There is a parking that fills up but there always someone leaving if you wait 5 mins.
