César E. Chávez Park

Awesome route for peaceful, relaxing jogs with good views of the docks and the water. The park features a flat, paved trail that's ideal for new runners or those looking for a mellow run (1.5 miles). Relatively clean! It's always nice when you don't have to keep an extra eye out for animal feces.

*Insider tip: Go during the early morning, and you can catch a beautiful view of the sunrise during golden hour ;) 🌅

Nice view of the shoreline. Plenty of free parking. Enjoy a ride with bicycle or walk.

Nice place for bbq as well. Also there is truck for kite. You can buy and enjoy the kite flying.

Cons:
No public restrooms available. Mobile toilet are not good at all.

Beautiful park with great trails. Perfect weather for flying kites at the top of the hills, and a local kite maker parks in the lot at the end of the Marina on weekends. Our kids enjoyed his scuttling crab kites when we were there. Off-leash area for dogs in the middle, which is great if your dog is good at recall - be warned that it is completely unfenced! Beautiful views of the Bay, bridges, and SF City beyond.

Finally made it out to this park and I wish I'd made it sooner! Parking was easy, beautiful views of Berkeley and SF, and a variety of things to do. Grills and picnic tables on sight, and a great space to bring your dog(s) off-leash!

Great for off leash dog walks. Owners are very responsible and dogs are generally playful and friendly with each other. There are water stations and lots of room for throwing balls or running/walking with your pooch
