Byxbee Park

Byxbee Park is a wonderful park with amazing trails. The park is filled with a beautiful green and diverse range of landscapes, well-maintained trails, making it easy for people of all ages to enjoy a leisurely walk or a more strenuous hike.
The park is also home to a number of wildlife species, so be sure to bring a camera and keep your eyes peeled for some of the amazing creatures that call this place home.
The park is well-equipped for visitors, with picnic areas, restrooms. There are also several picnic areas dotted along the trails, so you can stop for a rest and take in the views.

Byxbee Park provides a nice flat trail with slight inclines. This park has scenic views of the bay with benches around the park. There are various paths with various lengths so you could spend between 30 minutes to 2 hours easily. I recommend this place for everyone, from beginners to avid nature enthusiasts.

Park is clean and well-kept.

This a great place in the Palo Alto bay area for a scenic walk around the bay. There are many options to vary your path on each visit and most of the trails are dog friendly! The plethora of birds created an amazing ambiance that made you want to just sit and relax. I would highly recommend bringing bug spray due to the water providing quite a bit of mosquitoes.

Beautiful bay land, lush green fields after days of early winter rain. May need to drive further to find parking. A perfect place to see small planes descending Palo Alto airport right above your head. Lots of birds in Bay land. Saw three jackrabbits running on the fields.

Nice flat walk, great bird views, pelicans, mud hens, egrets, etc. Gradual hills only if you want. Miles you can go. Trek to shoreline. Path wide, no divots, dogs, bikes ok , bathrooms. Great for beginning walkers or families, gimps and runners!!
