I’m a regular customer. I love every vehicle I’ve rented. I think I’ve driven just about every full-size and SUV! At pick up rental time, I do a thorough car check for dents and other damage, including tires. The cars are always spotless clean. When I have noticed tires are not in good shape, I go back to the counter and I’m issued another car without hesitation. Also, Budget has always honored vehicle upgrades.

During the pandemic the line for picking up cars has been unacceptably long due to 2-3 people working at the counter, sometimes only two people. (To be fair, for the first time I saw no lines when I returned my rental, on New Year’s Eve.) Nevertheless, I’ve always encountered only polite and professional personnel at the counter.

Being a Fastbreak client has its benefits, and if the kiosk is staffed I am able to get my car very fast. I love the staff!

The only reason I am not providing five stars is that Budget does not have a rewards points system for car rentals. Sure there are discounts, but in today’s economy the daily rate is still pretty steep. Also, For frequent loyal customers, no-points/rewards or bonus day rentals, provide no incentives. Budget can do better here.
