Bodywork by Ari

A few days ago I decided to “pop my massage cherry” and finally invest in my well being and get a massage. I have been really interested in one to help with chronic lower back pain I’ve had for years now. Standing on my feet all day working retail puts a great stress on the body. I’ve been researching many places and looking at reviews, working in customer service the experience is everything to me so I hope this one helps you choose Ari.

I followed her Instagram page and saw all the before and after photos she has posted of her clients, just after one session I saw a difference. I was curious, like many of you out there I googled plenty of things wrong with me and wanted to consult Ari on what exactly was wrong with me. I NEEDED HELP!

From that moment I felt very comfortable talking to her and explaining my situation. She made me feel completely sane when I knew I probably sounded like a hot mess. She walked me through the various forms I had to fill out prior to our session and was super flexible on scheduling, which I had a hard time finding in other places. I was also super grateful that I was assured of the cleanliness of the location and saw with my own eyes that yes indeed she keeps her workspace nice and clean.

Upon arrival we did a consultation in which she assessed my body before putting in any work, she wanted to ensure she got it just right. The soothing environment almost made me fall asleep but I didn’t want to miss a single minute of what was going on. Curiously I asked quite a bit of questions about the process, my body, etc. (sorry Ari😂) At no point did I feel uncomfortable, and she made sure I was never in any pain and at my utmost comfort.

As my session concluded she gave me great tips to reduce the stress on my body in my daily routines. Immediately I felt myself gain much more mobility in my lower back and just felt like a weight had been lifted. That night I slept like a baby, it’s been years since I could say that. I would definitely continue to see Ari on my self-care journey going forward. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

The bodywork services provided by Ari were very comprehensive and thorough. She took the time to assess my history in and out of the gym, movement patterns and goals/areas of focus for the session and even during to make the most out of the time. I felt a noticible difference before and after the session, which I had been putting off for awhile due to my life circumstances. Looking forward to coming back again!
