Blackhawk Museum

This place never disappoints. We were pleasantly surprised with the new wildlife area. Not sure when it opened but it was new to us. So many different things to explore here that I did not get pictures of. I really enjoyed the little display of old makeup compacts as well.

A great place to go during a rainy day. I took my family here for the first time and I was thinking about springing for a family membership but the animal part was scary for the kids. Not to say that it wasn't great or beautiful because it truly was! But they just weren't comfortable due to it, I think it being so dark. But the kids are free and the adults were $15 a piece.

Blackhawk museum is one of the finest museum that is combination of classic cars and few modern supercars, African history, Chinese history and civilization, different sea animals, wilds animals and also Old Wild West, history of Native American.
It was really great place to be for a day trip. $15 ticket for adult was not that bad and kids under 6 was totally free. Wasn’t long wait time to grab a ticket. Kids would love the place. We really enjoyed our day at the museum. The museum was totally neat and clean. I do recommend everyone to visit the museum.

Absolutely amazing! My kid loved it so much. He especially likes the Ancient China exhibit. It is unique and can barely be found anywhere else. The demo of the Forbidden City is so eye catching and impactful. Love there.

We spent 3 hours there. I hope we could have more time since there is so much fun to explore.

So glad we found this gem deep in the valley. The museum is much larger than I expected. The story of China, the story of American West are quite complete. I am not a fan of cars but still impressed by its car collection. A very unique place to spend three hours of a weekend.
