Alex Lau Acupuncture & Herbs

Dr. Alex Lau has been my acupuncturist for the past 7 years. He was recommended to me for chronic back pain from a herniated disc. It took bit of time to adjust to his style- versus another acupuncturist I went to.
Dr. Alex is very honest, caring, and effective(means- it is bit on the painful side-to get to the De Chi point). While I started going to see him for back pain- I ended up returning for treatment to balance my immune system (I get colds periodically and his sessions gets me back on my feet super fast) to calm anxiety (life, work..)and to also address a nagging shoulder pain and other chronic changes. The list goes on. I have used some of the herbal formula's but unless I ask - he probably would not offer- he is a very humble person. Highly recommended. Thank you Dr. Alex

Alex is by far the best for treating back pain and my headaches. He's thorough, caring, and all around great. I've been a patient for many years and am at the maintenance phase - only go when I flare up. His office is clean and he has a great bedside manner. Highly recommend him.

Alex Lau is hands down the best acupuncturist I've come across in thirty years of seeing acupuncture practitioners. I've seen him for a variety of ailments over the past five years and he's always been a sure thing for me. Shoulder pain? Yes. Back pain? Yes. Low energy? Yes. He's so well versed in the art of acupuncture that it feels as though there's nothing he hasn't seen or treated. I've referred multiple friends to him with issues ranging from depression to acne to fertility, and the feedback I've gotten was nothing but stellar. He's also one of the friendliest most accommodating individuals I've met in the medical field. Always asks about the family, does his best to accommodate my timing needs even at a moment's notice, and is just a privilege to know as a caregiver. Thank you for everything.

I have seen Dr. Lau for a lingering cough, back pain, low energy, carpal tunnel and vertigo. I usually find some relief after the 1st appointment. I have not had to see him more than 3x to be back to normal. The man is AMAZING!!!!!!! He is always on time. Listens to my ailment and has a genuine desire to help. Before you go under the knife, run for drugs or antibiotics call Dr. Lau and see if he has had success with what is giving you trouble. He will take your call over the phone and answers his own phone (very rare) His son is working with his dad and has a tender touch and has gained so much under working for his dad. The office is very clean and modern. Run dont walk to his office.
