I brought my wife here to show her all the fishing stuff. It is hard to find places with decent lures in stock. They had rows & rows of fishing lures. Hard & soft bait as far as the eye could see. I was able to find a weedless flipping frog & the miracle string I needed, too. The staff greeted us when we came in & were real quick & nice when we checked out. I am real glad we still have places like this to shop for sporting goods in Contra Costa County. :)

Super slow when you need service from the gun/shooting department. This might be understandable as people are super careful while dealing with firearms. I suggest making an appointment before visiting. Otherwise, go earlier in a workday Yes, they are busy in the workdays as well.

I spent several hours there for my first visit. It was unexpected and had to leave to pick up kids although they already called my number. I got my paper work done during the 2nd visit, for which I went early on a Tuesday morning. The lady who helped me was nice.

The store is nice and clean though.
