Tilden Park Golf Course

I visited the store twice because the ball dispenser often broke down. But the practice course is pretty good.

Beautiful course in the middle of Tilden park. Lots of challenging holes and uneven lies. Driving range is huge (3 tiers) and excellent. Can be slow on the weekends. Love this course.

I don’t believe it’s a beginner friendly course. There’s a lot of narrow shots also not too many flat shots unless you’re on the tee box. Besides the difficulty, it has really beautiful views.

I’ve been playing Tilden since I was a kid. Over all those years(15ish), this is the best condition I’ve ever seen it. Especially considering how much play it’s been seeing recently. Play can be slow and practice areas can get busy on the weekends. Tee boxes could use some TLC but again, given the amount of play it’s seen, it’s not bad. Greens have been looking especially good lately but they’re slow. Although, they’re consistently slow at least so you can adjust easily after a few holes. The driving range is great, but they’ve had a few issues with the range ball machine lately. Again, seeing a lot of golfers these days. If you’re in the area (I come from Lafayette) make sure to check out the Players Club deal. Can’t beat it.

Old School Golf Course with tree lined fairways. The greens were recovering from being punched. It was also rare to see it in fairly dry condition this time of the year. 5 hour round,. The course is walkable but has a few hills that will have your heart racing.
