The White Rabbit Tattoo Parlor

Erik is an amazing artist. I love the work that he did. I had many ideas for my sleeve and he worked all in and made it flow. The details are incredible.

White Rabbit is the absolute best! They are the 4th tattoo shop I've used in the Vacaville-Fairfield area, and they are no doubt the absolute best. I had an idea for a piece I wanted for years, but I couldn't find an artist who I thought would be best for the work. I searched for almost 10 years before finding Mark through a friend. I looked at his work on my friend, and on Instagram, and instantly knew he was the artist I wanted to design my piece. I went into White Rabbit to discuss my idea with him. He was excited about it, and I paid the deposit to book an appointment.

I would like people to understand that this is a tattoo shop with REAL artists. They do not take walk-ins (presumably) #1 because they are so busy they have to schedule out, and #2 they want to produce quality ART and you cannot do that on the spot. If you are a person who is looking for a tattoo instantly, and haven't put much thought into it, this is NOT the shop for you.

Before I get into my tattoo, I want to say that this shop is so refreshing. It is damn near medical-grade clean, which is what you want in a shop. There is art all over the walls and the space is bright, clean, and comfortable. You can tell they put thought into every corner and detail of their shop, and they show that same attention to detail in their work. It is a beautiful space.

I e-mailed some ideas about what I wanted (and didn't want) a week before my appointment. When I came in for my appointment Mark had a drawing ready of my 'lighthouse in the storm' idea. I loved it, it was exactly what I was looking for, but I wanted to make a few tweaks. Since I've had a "tattoo nightmare" in the past I really wanted to make sure I got this one exactly right, and Mark showed that same care and concern. I tweaked a few minor things and we were off! My tattoo took 2 sittings; the first sitting was the outline, and the second was all the color. It turned out INCREDIBLE! Even better than I could have ever envisioned. The color is so realistic and the whole tattoo itself is beautiful.

I would also like to compliment Mark and Chris on their demeanor. There is no ego or pride with them. They are down-to-earth, kind, intelligent, calm, artistic guys. Working with Mark was so smooth, His personality is so laid-back you have an extremely easy time being comfortable. I was up-front with him about my nervousness for a new tattoo since my last tattoo was a nightmare, and he was extremely understanding. The small tweaks I had to his drawing of my piece were easy to adjust. Mark really wants you to be happy with the art he creates, and I am extremely happy! I cannot wait to do the rest of my sleeve with him!

Also, Mark is in-progress on a sleeve for my boyfriend. He had the whole outline of his sleeve done by another artist, and then that artist relocated. For years he couldn't find a new artist he thought would be a good fit, and the times he did, they weren't willing to take on the piece. Mark has taken it on, and completely transformed it! Its still a work in progress, but the work he has done so far is extraordinary. The tattoo looks so real. I can't wait for him to post photos.

This shop is the best! You can trust them to realize your vision for an incredible tattoo. Their art is amazing.

Mark is seriously the BEST tattoo artist around. His lettering is off the hook and his colors are AMAZING!!!! I had an idea in my head of what I wanted he FAR surpassed my expectations!!! Don't be stupid and go with the "cheaper place". You will regret it. Also, I LOVE that he is a clean freak. Makes me feel good that Im getting tattooed by someone who thrives off of cleanliness. :) HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Mark by far is the best artist around! He can take your idea and make it come to life. He is a true artist and does beautiful work. He is the only artist to go to in my opinion!!! So if you want art and not just some average tattoo he is who you should be seeing.

BEST TATTOO SHOP HANDS DOWN! Mark is amazing and he's the best artist I've ever been to-he has done 3 of my tattoos so far. He did an awesome "rework" of a bad tattoo I had done only a year prior-now, 2 years later my ink is still as bright as the first day I got it!! So far my most prized tattoo is my arm piece that took 12 hours-I get compliments ALL THE TIME on this one! People stop me on the street to find out who did it! Colors are vibrant and the artistry is simply unbeatable! I would recommend Mark and this shop any time. Also a very clean shop and Mark is very professional!!
