(December 28, 2022, 2:38 pm)Wow this place is fantastic!! We didn’t want to go to Starbucks again. So we stopped here. The coffee is great!! Pork buns, pineapple buns, custard thingies, everything fantastic. Homemade. Fresh. Clean. Super nice people!! Our new favorite place for bfast!!

Pork Buns - 4/5 - The buns are pretty good. Always have a couple of these for breakfast during the week. It's a quick eat that I can appreciate.
Service: 4/5 - Friendly service.

The woman behind the counter was friendly and the food was very well-priced compared to some other Chinese bakeries in the city. The place is clean, but definitely aged. You can tell it's been in business for a while now. There isn't a massive selection, but still plenty of choices. There are cakes in refrigerators and small trays of pastries on display, along with a menu for buns.
The custard tarts are made with puff pastry which makes them way better than the neater looking ones you'll find at other bakeries made with a rough-puff, sort of shortbread dough. Puff pastry takes a lot of effort to make, and you'll feel the difference when you bite into it. They're so flaky and not too sweet. I highly recommend buying the custard tarts. I bought a box of them and will definitely buy more in the future. Just remember, this place is CASH-ONLY and the ATM at the corner store a few steps away charges $3.25 for a cash withdrawal. -

(September 13, 2021, 3:51 am)Nice egg tart! Strawberry cake 🍰 and Hong Kong style milk tea are also the must try! They only take cash, but the price for every item is extremely reasonable in SF!
