Southwest Airlines

Southwest was great. Heard a lot on negative side since I last used Southwest during Covid. Saw TV about delay and staff problems but I found they're still great. If the government forces hospitals and air service,( mainly pilots), to get Covid shots or be fired then the current problem lies with the current Administration not the Service industry!!!

I wasn't flying with Southwest, anymore because of very unprofessional and extremely rude ladies at the Baltimore Airport. The other airlines have great customer service so maybe stop hiring due to diversity and more due to professionalism.

My boss bought me a ticket to fly to San Jose, (I refused but she insisted) and it was a great experience but I'm not sure I will use them when flying to Baltimore Maryland. I hope that they have an ethics training. To avoid losing business.

Had a great flight from SJC to LAX round trip on May 16...WN 2281/715. Crew on both flights were very friendly and have a happy demeanor... indicative that they enjoy their work. They offered soft drinks, water and pretzel snacks. The only thing I don't like is the boarding procedure. Passengers at the back should be boarded first. But I guess the industry standard now is you pay extra to board first at the expense of efficiency.

There is no U.S. airline that deserves 5 stars these days, but Southwest is as good as one can expect (notwithstanding their meltdown awhile back which I was fortunate to miss). Their unconventional boarding process, with no seat assignments, works fine, especially considering that all the other airlines now extort extra fees to reserve a seat, and if you don't pay up, you will surely end up in a middle seat in the back of the plane. Flight attendants are professional and friendly. Seats aren't exactly roomy, but better than the no-frills airlines.
