Nice and clean place to go with family for picnic and camping. Entry to the beach/park is by ticket. Closes at 6pm and strictly needs to leave at 6pm. After playing at beach there are showers and restrooms to change. Food: KFC, Subway and few restaurants available around downtown area.
Shopping: Dollar family tree is the only store that has all the stuff needed for Beach play/camping.
I recommend to go and have fun with family and friends.

Lovely campground right on the river. Convenient to town with good dog walking on well maintained grassy areas. the park rangers are friendly and halpful. No sewer hookup but a very nice place.

Nice place to play and enjoy the water. You must pay $8.00 for parking open until 6pm. If your not paying attention to the time. You'll have a old crabby guy tell you that "if your not camping you have to leave" No dogs and no 🚬 according to signage

Sandy Beach is a pretty and small beach. It is very clean and well maintained. Plenty of parking. Nice views. My only complaint... no real privacy to the bathrooms! NO DOOR for in and out!!! Just 2 stalls with small doors! A weird couple kept hanging out at the bathroom door! Not to use it, but just hanging out when anyone went in or out. I left the area because of that. I went back and so did they.

Great place to have a good time with family and fríends. And eventhough the beach it's cold, it's enyoyable. The only thing I don't like it's the heat. And don't forget a sunscreen or youll regret it.
