I have been going to Dr Kim for my back and shoulder pain issues. After several treatments, the pain issues have been resolved. I no longer experience pain in those areas. I recommend this doctor due to his professionalism and effective treatments.
Dr. Jerry Kim has been my go to acupuncturist for fours years. He is a patient centered practitioner - meaning he focus on treating and resolving the problem. I first went to Dr Kim after my doctor told me I needed back surgery. Dr Kim treated me for low back pains that radiated down both legs which made it difficult for me to sleep, sit stand or walk - I was in so much pain.
He used herbs and needles to heal me. After the first month I felt better. I continued to get treatment for a year until I was healed. I go to him for maintenance so that my back stays healthy. He changed my life. The key is consistent treatment with needles and herbs and in addition to good core and stretching exercises. Also give Dr Kim feedback on how you are feeling so he can customize treatment based on your progress.
His office is very modest and sort of community oriented but don't judge the effectiveness on that. He really care about helping people.
