Rose Garden

The Rose Garden in Golden Gate Park is a beautiful garden filled with a variety of roses, located on John F. Kennedy Drive in San Francisco, California. The garden was first established in the 1960s and is maintained by the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department.

The Rose Garden features a variety of rose species and cultivars, including hybrid tea roses, floribunda roses, and climbers. The garden is designed with several paths and walkways that allow visitors to explore the many different rose displays and enjoy the tranquil setting.

A beautiful short walk, and an extra special free treat next to the adjacent gardens that have fees for out-of-towners.

Wow! The variety of roses here is incredible. There are so many to look at and the garden is free to walk around in. There isn't a paved path but the grass is even and not hard to walk between the roses to eee each row. I lief that they were labeled clearly.

I spent the morning & afternoon in GOLDEN GATE PARK - SUNDAY FUNDAY😊.

I stopped by the Rose🌹Garden. The pollinators were out busy as ever - small bee's 🐝 & bumblebee's 🐝

Nice rose garden with many different species of rose. It would be a beautiful sight if all the rose are in full blossom. But because there are so many different species of rose, they almost never blossom at the same time. You can try your chances, and you may have better luck than me.
