Redemption Church

I LOVE THIS CHURCH!!!! I would like to clarify that where the word of God is taught as IT IS and not modified- THAT is where the truth is. THAT is where there is an anointing. I was raised in church since birth. I hadn't attended church for years..I'd backslid and fell away from any relationship with God. The last time I'd went before this was on a random night when I was having a breakdown. I was overwhelmed and I lost it. I needed God..I had went to a non denominatial service that night..and spent over an hour waiting for the message to begin..while they went on about tithes and offering...The container came to me..I had nothing..not a dime to my name...They starred at me..and waited..Even after I said I had nothing..I felt mortified..upset..I know the importance of what it means to give to the church. But I also know that is NOT by any means the focus. Nor should it ever be. After a long hiatus my cousin asked me to go to church with her. I was apprehensive at first..but she kept on..Telling me that it was different..One Sunday I was compelled to attend with her..I walked in and felt the anointing of God all over and inside of me. I immediately broke down in tears and was overcome with conviction, hurt, pain,..while at the same time..love..hope..encouragement..faith..and release..I felt exposed and was stripped of any reservations in that moment. I went to the front alter call...I could barely hold myself together...Before I had a chance to walk up to the pastor...We were about 8 feet apart...she looked at me and said "Oh lord have mercy. You have something heavy..very heavy all around you. A darkness that is tremendous. " She didn't ask my name off the bat or do what she did with others..she abruptly began to pray..she called over others..and I began to tremble..I KNEW there was something inside of me..all around me..something that has tormented my soul. I NEEDED to be there. God wanted me there. He called me to go that day...Ever since then I have looked forward to going back. You don't shop to find a church. You go where the holy spirit is. And you'll know when it is. The authenticity, transparency and overall fabric of Redemption is God's will being done in a way that is not common in this world. This church invites everyone to COME AS YOU ARE. Pastor Ron teaches the word of God as it is meant to be taught. He does not translate it to make it less than what it is..or anything different than what it should be. He teaches the word of God directly from the scripture and explains it in a way that is consistent and directly on par with what it's meant to be. He doesn't sugar coat God's word to make it less scary or less real for the sake of not scaring people. It is clear that God uses Pastor Ron as a vessel to live our lives according to the Bible and in a way that leads us to be the person God wants and expects us to be. To prepare us for when he comes. This is my perception and personal experience and take on Redemption. Again, this isn't like a yelp review or anything like what a restaurant review would be. Either a church is preaching the truth or it isn't. Either a church is following the word of God or it isn't. Either the ANNOINTING IS THERE OR IT ISN'T. God is in this church. God loves you, unconditionally, he is rooting for you, he is waiting for you. If you want to hear the word of God, and would like to meet those who are supportive, encouraging, and brothers and sisters in christ- Come to Redemption.

Love this church, diversified community, welcoming staff and Pastor Ron‘s sermons are enlightening and very informative! Services are on Sundays at 9 am and 11:15 am.
