Great church open every Sunday and some other select days for LDS/Mormon church groups and activities.

On Sunday's the building hosts different wards/groups of ppl in the surrounding area.

With the countless number of churches in Contra Costa County and Alameda County, how does one decide which church is “right” for them? Why should those who believe Jesus Christ died for our sins and strive to do the will of God be chained to one single church when there are so many believers scattered all over the East Bay? The state, the country, and the world? Is it fulfilling or satisfying to be stuck and isolated into a single ward when God’s children deserve to communicate and love each other wherever they are regardless of their address? We have the ability to instantaneously communicate, yet we are shackled to whichever tiny ward we live next to. These churches are great, but how does the fellowship of Jesus Christ share their love for one another if they are all separated apart from one another?

Visitors are welcomed! This is a very nice group of people. If you happen to be there on a day they have the Linger Longer you will be treated to an amazing meal and social. It's wonderful there.

Beautiful LDS chapel - has a lovely atrium in the center and generally a nice view, being on a hill. In a lovely neighborhood, so the drive/walk there is kind of peaceful and calming. Definitely recommend visiting on a Sunday and attending a service!

We love the Lafayette ward and our building at Overlook. All members are very welcoming. All services are open to the public. A great youth program as well as a young children program with more than 60 kids. Services are generally talks by members, unpaid clergy and everyone has a job. If you are new to Walnut Crrek stop by Sunday services at 9am and 1pm.
