Paddock Bowl

I wanted to take my niece and nephew and my kids out somewhere. It was a little rainy so I asked if they wanted to go bowling. So we came here to Paddock Bowl. I think this is only the second time I bowled here. I used to go to Diablo Lanes back in the days I bowled in a league many years ago, I think it's closed now. I like this place it's not too big which is nice but could mean you have to wait for a lane. Only the left half (the lower number ones)of the lanes have bumpers for little kids. We were lucky to have been assigned the last available bumper lane. They started telling the other people asking for bumper bowling it would be at least an hour. Kids aren't the fastest especially my toddler who used the dino ramp to roll his ball. I think it took us almost 2 hours to bowl with 5 kids and 2 games. But the kids had a great time.

I did not bowl. However, my family come here to bowl and the kids play in a league. They love it here. I did enjoy hanging out here with my cousins while they bowl. They have a full bar. The drinks were good. The server at the bar was super friendly (she was welcoming).

Thought it’s my first time here, the bowling alley looks like it’s been here awhile. It’s kinda small maybe 12 lanes (I could be wrong). We came on a Sunday and it wasn’t too crowded which was nice.

They have a Korean restaurant connected to them which is a plus. They serve Korean food and bowling alley food! Awesome right?!? It’s a cool hangout for a Sunday funday :).

We love Paddock bowl. We just started on a bowling league last year. Nice people all around. The bartender Ginger is a sweetheart and the little cafe food and people are also very friendly great service. I truly enjoyed that I could get American or Korean food. And its so good!

We enjoy this nice & clean, mom & pop bowling alley! We drive over 25 miles to enjoy a good & cheap bowling experience on Sundays! The staff is always so courteous, helpful & respectful! We have even introduced Paddock to a few folks looking for bowling fun.
Watch out for number 6 pin, it doesn't seem to want to allow strikes! It'll spin, wobble & even tip a little, but really tries to stay up. Figure out how to hit the pins right & the game is on!
My husband came back on me because he got in the groove in the last 6 frames. He threw 2 spares & the rest strikes, three of which were in the 10th frame! I usually don't win, but I thought I had him that game! Next time, it's on!

Went for a birthday party, and while we enjoyed ourselves (adults had something to do at a kid's bday party!), there were some strange things. For example, there was no music playing at the bowling alley. Zero. None. Odd to me/our crew that that is the case -- perhaps because there was a tournament going on but certainly made for a less-exciting bday party. 🤔😜
Another thing was the smell of old cheese coming from somewhere 🤔😜🤢 that I reckon we got used to or something.
We had fun bowling on the very nostalgic computer scoring system 😜
Shoes were in decent shape, bowling balls were organized by weight so easy to find the weight and hole sizes you needed, bathrooms were clean.
Can't talk about price/value because was a bday party.
Not sure that we'd drive to return to this bowling alley, but if in the area and looking for bowling -- I could recommend this place ☺️
