For a person new to the city I will definitely suggest renting car from miles4less car rental.
I had rented a Hyundai Sonata from Miles4Less back in 2012 for almost a year, until I purchased my own car. Nick had offered to drop the car off at the requested location. Since I was new to driving and the Bay Area, he got me a good deal on the car rental as well as the insurance. When I had a small accident a few months later, he came to help out with the car, helped with the insurance claim and also provided an alternate mode of transport while the Sonata was in the body shop. I had extremely good service and would recommend Miles4Less to others as well.
