I cannot recommend Marin Memorial Services enough. Captain Ron and crew member Jim were upmost professionals. As soon as you board the Blue Runner, they go over safety instructions (lifeboat, life vest information). Then they let you know what to expect when it’s time to say goodbye to your loved one. They are friendly but seem to know when you need privacy.

I was emotional before scattering my mother’s ashes, but felt at peace afterward, so we had a great conversation with Jim. We felt safe and taken care of.

The only thing they request from you is that you’re early, which we were. I understood why because the next family was already waiting and ready to board when we returned to the dock. That’s a small thing for them to request for the level of empathy and service you get from them. We appreciate Todd, Ron, and Jim very much!

We were very pleased with our entire experience.
Todd, owner of the Blue runner, was really clear with instructions over the phone, Captain Ron’s smooth navigating and Jim, who led us through the process with genuine kindness. The boat was spacious (we were sixteen), really clean and very easy to find in the marina. Parking was abundant. Our family is thankful we were able to fulfill our dad’s wishes and enjoy the outing too.

Spread 3 family members ashes yesterday. It was a wonderful experience from the initial call to the trip. Everything went so smoothly. Amazing trip. Highly recommend this company. Thank you marine memorial for making this an easy and memorable experience.

Captain Ron and dock head Bob made the process much easier. They are very patient to list what I want to do for my late husband and accommodate the needs. Captain Ron teach my kids the different fishes and watch him driving the boat. Keep them entertained is really help us to focus on my late husband. I can’t say thank you enough to make this trip so memorable. Very great service and friendly stuff.

I chose Marin Memorial Services to scatter the ashes of my parents. The "unattended ash scattering" service was perfect for my needs, as my parents called the SF Bay Area "home," whereas I live a considerable distance away. In addition, in life, my parents eschewed ceremony and had little regard for the "funeral industrial complex." Thus, the convenience, simplicity and affordability of the unattended scattering were consistent with their values and wishes. It was also respectful - which was consistent with mine.
