I couldn’t be any more excited and happy about my new eyes!

I’ve considered LASIK for a while now, but not seriously until the last few months. After lots of research about refractive surgery, and surgery centers in my area, I decided to start with Lasuervue, based on their reviews. Making my initial consultation appointment was so easy! Once I gave my basic info over the phone, the patient coordinator, Moe emailed me patient forms to fill out, and a detailed overview of how the consultation was going to go.

When I got to my consultation, I was greeted by the front desk, and then the tech had taken me back right away! I was amazed with the very little waiting time to be called back. The tech there, Francisco started my consultation with different scans that help determine the candidacy of the procedure. Francisco had also checked my vision, and asked me about any eye/medical history that I needed to inform them of. Laservue offers LASIK, SMILE, and PRK. After Dr. Sefton’s very thorough exam, I ended up being a great candidate for LASIK. She went into detail about the surgery, how to prepare for the surgery before hand, day of surgery, and after the surgery as well. She was even patient enough to sit through all my questions, and was happy to answer them. I was dilated during the exam, they need do to this before we proceed with the surgery.

Once Dr. Sefton was done with the exam, I was able to sit down and talk with Francisco, this time about more specifically about LASIK. He gave me a folder that had all the info regarding LASIK, including pricing. The pricing was very fair considering I wouldn’t have to pay for glasses and contacts every year afterwards. He was very patient with me as well and answered all my questions regarding scheduling and pricing. He even walked me through all the drops that I would need to get to use after the surgery, he was kind enough to give me coupons for the drops as well.

The entire staff at Laservue made me feel so comfortable, I decided to book with them right then and there. I booked 3 appointments right away. My surgery appointment, my 2 day post-op appointment, and my 1 week post-op appointment.

When it came to the actual surgery day, I was more excited than nervous. As soon as I got checked in, I signed the consent forms, and they gave me some lorazepam to help keep me calm during the surgery. After that, Melinda had repeated the same scans I did at my initial consultation. This helps make sure my prescription didn’t change. She also went more in depth with me about post-op after care and double checked all my drops to make sure they were all correct, which I really appreciated.

Right before the surgery, Dr. Bansal came in and chatted with me, and refracted me one last time- I loved all the double and triple checking. He also answered all my last minute questions that I had. Melinda came back and prepped my eyes for the surgery, then they walked me to the laser suite, and it was go time.

His assistant Brooke gave me stress balls to squeeze- turns out I was more nervous than I thought! Even though I was nervous, the surgery was quick and painless! I was amazed at how fast I was in and out of the office. Once I got home, I fell asleep for a few hours to rest, as that’s what Dr. Bansal had advised me that was best for recovering. I did wake up to put my medicated drops in and to eat, then I was able to fall back asleep for the night, without my sleep being effected with the long nap I had taken after surgery.

The 2 day post-op visit was super quick, and I was already seeing 20/25! If you’re thinking about any refractive surgery, I highly recommend doing it! I also cannot recommend Dr. Bansal and the entire team at Laservue enough! Everyone was so welcoming, helpful, and made me feel comfortable about the entire process. I wish I had done it sooner, but I’m glad I finally got it done. Now I can see the world clearly without any glasses or contacts!

The best self-investment I've made so far! They were able to get me a discount with my insurance, were incredibly flexible with appointment setting and were quick and kind at every appointment! The procedure only took about 8-10 minutes, I wouldn't call it painful, more like uncomfortable but they do everything to make you comfortable and keep your mind at ease. I chose to make balloon payments leading up to my procedure and was able to use my FSA which really helped. Before the procedure my contacts were -2.75 in my left eye and -2.25 in my right. Just one week later I was at 20/20 all around and I've never been happier!!! I would highly recommend Dr. Bansal and his team!

I had LASIK done on both eyes in Sept, 2022, and the experience so far has been amazing. The entire team is professional, friendly, and helpful, willing to work with you on options, scheduling, providing recommendations, keeping costs down, etc.

They were very patient with me and listened to all of my concerns seriously. They made sure to explain every step and helped me see😉 the value of getting the surgery done. They've definitely reassured me that I was in the right hands. I was so happy with the results that i even brought my brother to get his vision fixed.
